Mission

This space is dedicated to our reflections and our thoughts towards the construction of a “new reality”. The economical and financial crisis that is interesting the entire world, the distance and the void that politics has created between it and the civil society, have destroyed dreams and hopes, the present and the future of millions of people and families. We are not here to complain but we want to take the field with a purposeful spirit, to promote and show institutions new socio-economic models in favour of our territory development.

In the present cultural morass, dominated by commercial centres hegemony, where people sell their spare time to the capital, drowning their emotions in a Big-Mac, we think it is high time to let people know the flavour of our philosophy:” A return to the Earth, to its fruits, to its values , to our traditions and to our culture. The letter is not intended as a hegemonic flag, but as a resource to protect, as well as to share and mix in order to stretch out our “depth of field”.

Our team

The cooperative “Nido di Seta” is made up of three young Calabrians who want to curb the brain escape to Northen Italy or abroad due to the strong period of economical crisis we are living. These young people have a big sense of environmental and landscape protection in favour of the growth of the sustainable development of the territory.

We want to restart from the land, our land, taking advantage of the resources it offers us. Our mission will be the transmission of these values and let foreign citizens and fellow citizens rediscover the wonders that a natural heritage can offer. In this context we want to orchestrate handicraft, tradition, cultural, artistic, and culinary moments, in order to make our home a pole of attraction for teaching and for national and international tourism.
